Massdrop - Small Talk Fat Quarter Bundle

Hi y'all!  Just a quick post today.  I ran across this gorgeous fat quarter bundle on Massdrop and just had to share.  I absolutely love every single one of these!

Massdrop Fun - Wonder Clips and FriXion Pens

Hey yall!  Hope your days are going well.  I thought I'd drop in again today to let you know about a few deals I saw on Massdrop.  If you haven't gone and visited before, do yourself a favor and take a look.  Sometimes the deals aren't that great, but some of them I just have to take advantage of and share. 

For example, there are 7 hours left in this drop for (50) Wonder Clips.  The price is down to $21.99. 

The other thing I saw today is the FriXion Pens.  Here's what the drop includes (from the Massdrop website):

Massdrop - Windham Backing Fabric

I just happened to stop by Massdrop to do some....browsing.  Yes, browsing is the right word.  :)  But I wanted to share with you what I found.

First, they have this gorgeous fat quarter bundle on for four more days...

Sunday Stash - My Oliso Came In!

I actually have stuff to share for Sunday Stash this week.  First up...my Oliso!!!  It came in this week and I have had so much fun with it.

 

 I've wanted one for a long time and when Massdrop had it last month and the price was $106.99 I jumped on it.  Let me tell you, I love this iron!  I did have a bit of fun with it.  I was sitting at my machine sewing and my daughter was over next to my pressing area.  I asked her to touch the iron for me, you know, to get it hot so I could press when I was done.  She thought I was nuts but reached over and touched it.  Well, the iron moved, of course.  Cassidy shrieked, jumped, then yelled at me, "It moved!  You did that on purpose!"  I just busted out laughing.

I also picked up a bit of fabric.  I fell in love with these cute bikes by Timeless Treasures.

 

Bikes must have been the theme of the day because I also snatched these up.  The pastels are from Fancy Free by Riley Blake.  Not sure about the other as my fat quarter doesn't have a selvedge (sorry!).

 

I also love these low volume prints.  The dress forms are from Vintage Couturier by Robert Kaufman.  Not sure about the other two.

Sunday Stash 10/26/14

I finally received my Aurifil thread from Massdrop!!  Is it crazy that I get so excited about thread??

The price was amazing so I picked up two different sets.  Aren't the colors yummy??

And the timing is just right because I really need to do the hand stitching on my Rotaries in Bloom and some of these threads are perfect for it.

I also finally broke down and bought the book, "Quilty Fun," by Lori Holt.  I've been wanting it since it first came out.  Connecting Threads had it on 40% off sale so I grabbed it.

And finally, since I've been wanting to try out the solids from Connecting Threads for a while, I went ahead and purchased this Lemon Yellow at the same time.  Their price is only $4.96/yard so I grabbed two yards.

Y'all, the quality of this fabric is impressive.  I compared it to a piece of Kona and liked this better.  Then I showed both pieces to a non-quilter, non-sewer and just judging by look and feel, they chose this too.  I highly recommend this fabric!!

I just have to share!  I'm so excited.  I've been wanting an Oliso iron for years.  The price has always deterred me.  But.....Massdrop has one right now and it is starting at $114.99 and can drop as low as $106.99!!!

So I'm letting all of you know, just in case there is someone else out there like me that's been holding off, now's the time!!

Have y'all heard of Massdrop?  I've fallen totally in love with this site.  They figure out what people want to buy, go to the manufacturer or said product, then work out a good price which they pass on to all of us.  So far, I got a great deal on Aurifil thread and Superior Threads Titanium Needles.  I went looking today and they have more awesome deals and I thought I'd pass them along to all of you.

First, they have another awesome price on Aurifil Thread Collections in neutrals, both by Pat Sloan and by Mark Lipinski.

It is starting at $85.99 for 12 spools but if 50 or more people agree to buy it, the price will drop to $79.99!!  Isn't that amazing???

Sunday Stash 9/28/14

It's time again for Sunday Stash!!  I know, I know, I've been so bad about these posts lately.  And it's not that I haven't had anything coming in, I definitely have, I've just been so busy playing with said fabric!!  But today, I really wanted to share these fabulously yummy fabrics.

 

Have y'all had a chance to play with the Cotton + Steel fabrics?  Let me be the first to tell you, the fabrics feel so soft!  The colors are deep and gorgeous.  

  

Erin at Sew at Home Mummy is hosting a Cotton+Steel swap.  She is going line by line and is swapping fat eighths and charms.  These two were my fabrics for the basic round so they've already come in and gone back out.   I've been participating since the first swap and having Erin hold mine and send them all to me at once.  I can hardly wait to see all this yumminess in one stack!  Already scoping out projects for this bundle.

Speaking of yumminess, have y'all heard of Massdrop?  They have an awesome price on Aurifil right now. Twelve spools of gorgeous 40 wt. Aurifil for $81.99!  But hurry, only one day left for this one!
