Snapshots QAL - Kindred Kitchen and Triple Scoop Sundae

Did y'all have a good weekend?  Mine was really good but really busy.  Cassidy leaves for college on Thursday and it's been running around trying to get her ready for a while now.  I did manage to squeeze in some sewing time though.  I'm almost caught up with the Fat Quarter Shop's Snapshots QAL.  Here is the apron, Kindred Kitchen...

    I am doing the snapshots QAL also but I am so behind!!! I love that triple scoop block! you chose the best fabrics to use on it!

    Those blocks are so cute. I especially like your apron fabrics, as it reminds me so much of ones my grandmother wore. I know you'll be rushed off your feet the rest of the week. You don't need to answer my comment. Just spend the time with your daughter instead!

    I'm impressed that you finished two blocks and cut out another while you're getting your daughter ready to go off for college - way to go! Is she headed far away, or is she near enough for visits? Our Heather is moving to med school on Saturday, but it's only just over an hour away, so I'm super happy (after undergrad a thousand miles away, it's a huge treat)!
