Sunday Stash & An Update on the Traveling Stash Box

Another Sunday and I'm happy to say I have fabric to report this week!  First up is the fabric I chose to keep from the Travelling Stash Box.  There are half-yard cuts of each of these awesome prints...

And I kept these two fat quarters...

While we're on the subject of the Travelling Stash Box, let me give you an update.  I was supposed to draw the name of the winner to receive this box yesterday.  But I had been holding off until I got a response from the organizer of the box.  You see, when I received it last week, every reeked of cigarette smoke.  I wanted an opinion from them on what I should do about it.  I could wash everything but the pre-cuts, but I wasn't sure if that was the best bet.  The organizer wants to retire the box, have me send it back to them, and then we are going to start a new box in September.  I will take the names of those who entered into it and add them to whoever signs up when the box is ready to go and we'll go from there.  I'm sorry for the hold up, but I want everyone to have a chance a good quality fabric without having any issues.

Now on to the rest of Sunday Stash.  The nice part about taking my mom fabric shopping is that she loves to buy fabric, and I do mean loves to buy fabric, but she hates to sew.  I get to hint around at what I like when we shop.  She usually takes things home with her to fondle for a few months but then they always get sent home with me to play with.  The rest of today's fabric are her purchases from last month's shop hop.  First up is three yards of this lovely red....

And I love these!!!  I took mom over and showed her these specifically hoping she'd buy them so I could play.  Half a yard each...

And a few yards of this lovely tan neutral...

We were specifically looking for teals on this trip.  There are a yard of each of these...

Mom fell in love with these.  A yard each of the blue and red and three yards of the cream/tan.

Now I am a sucker for kids and baseball so this panel was a no-brainer.  Mom bought it (she's as bad as I am) and I got to bring it home tonight.

And the last two blocks of this panel...

So stinking cute!  And one more plate to add to my collection this week from the Row by Row Experience.

Can't wait to dig in and start playing!  Do y'all have anything fun to share this week?

Linking up with Molli Sparkles!
