January Wrap Up!

Hi y'all!  I sure hope you had a productive weekend.  I spent most of mine fighting a sinus infection so felt lucky to get my daily blocks done.  Here's a quick wrap up of those blocks for this month.  First up is the 365 Block Challenge 2016, January blocks...

365 Block Challenge 2016 - January Blocks

All of those are 3-1/2" blocks.  I have loved making each and every one of them so far.  I have become an expert at the 4 at a time HST method and that has been my saving grace with these things.  Can't even imagine trying to make 1-1/4" HST's the traditional way.

Next up is this week's Project 48 block...

Project 48 - Block 4

These are some really fun blocks and each week is so different than the last.  I can't wait to see this one come together and there are still so many weeks to go!  Here are the first 4 together...

And since this is the start of a new month, I get my new Ray of Hope block.  Today also starts the Ugly Sweater Quilt Along at Sew Fresh Quilts and this month starts the Splendid Sampler which I'm really looking forward to.

  1. I love your purple blocks, it's such a fun color to stitch with. Though the teal and red in your Project 48 are a close second in the favorite department. Hope you sinus infection is getting better. It seems to be that time of year.

  2. I think the 365 Quilt Blocks is ingenious - what a great way to build a quilt! Yours is the second set of blocks I've seen and I love the purple fabrics you are using. It will be fun to watch the progression of this project. Thanks for linking to MCM!

  3. Oh!! All those purples - they are fantastic! Hope you;ll feel better for February

  4. I love your color scheme for the Project 48 blocks. I'm curious if they are 12-inch finished blocks? Take care, Mary.

  5. The Ugly Sweaters quilt is a great idea!

  6. You are doing a lot of very exciting projects. I love all your purple blocks, even if they are tiny. =)

  7. Hi, Cathy! Thanks for linking up. LOVE your purple set! I've had a slow month, and now I'm having a hard time kicking into my normal level of gear. I think I'll just embrace it and enjoy the slower pace for a while longer. It's not a lack of mojo - just a lack of fast drive. :)
