Hi y'all! Have y'all been as busy, busy, busy as I have in the sewing room? So many fun projects going on and even more coming! Let's catch you up on my progress. First up, here are last week's blocks for the 365 Block Challenge 2016...
That maple leaf block is seriously bugging me. We are still working on 3-1/2" blocks so I know it will be lost in the shuffle. Trying to let that be enough. Next up is the blocks for The Splendid Sampler. Here's block 2...
I haven't decided on the antennae for the butterflies yet. May go back and add them. Here's block 3...
I truly love this block. This quilt is going to be for my brother and sister-in-law. They have 3 children and lost their first so this truly seems to represent their family. It makes me smile. :) We are finally starting to get an idea of what it will look like when it comes together!
I love this setting! I'm still working on the tutorial. I started taking the pics for it Sunday but forgot to take half of them! Darn it! So it will be up later this week. Next up is the block for my Project 48...
This quilt is looking so cute!!! Just wait, I'll give you an update next week, after the 8th block. Next up is the Ugly Christmas Sweaters QAL. Here are the 3 blocks that Lorna posted last week...
So cute! And here are my complementary blocks...
I'm having a blast with this quilt along. I can't wait to see it finished in a few months. Thanks again Lorna for a fun design.
So what have you been up to? I'll be linking up at Design Wall Monday at Patchwork Times, BOM's Away at What a Hoot, Main Crush Monday at Cooking Up Quilts, Design Board Monday at Bits and Bobs, Monday Making at Love Laugh Quilt, Fabric Tuesday at Quilt Story, Freemotion by the River for Linky Tuesday, and Sew Cute Tuesday at Blossom Heart Quilts.

Leader/Ender Linky Party!
Today's the day! We are linking up our leader/ender progress for this month! As my regular followers know, I've been working on a long term project called Patches and Pinwheels. Here's where I was last month.
So I had 60 sets. Here's where I am this month...
Yup. Sixty-one. Not a lot of progress. But that's because I still have a Moda quilt to get done and with all the other projects, I relegated the making of pinwheels to leaders/enders so I could work on everything at once. I have 180 of these things to make..
I've made a good dent and it's getting ready to move to primary position in the sewing line. I'm making two versions of this quilt, one for Moda and the Bakeshop, and one with my own fabrics (Cori Dantini's Makers line). So I'll have a finish soon to show you!!
Now it's your turn! What has been your leader/ender project? Come link up and show us what you're working on.
Today, I'm linking up with Fabric Tuesday at Quilt Story, Freemotion by the River for Linky Tuesday, and Blossom Heart Quilts for Sew Cute Tuesday.

Happy Belated Valentine's Day!
Did y'all have a good weekend? Mine was very hectic but I still managed to get quite a bit of sewing done. Let me catch you up on my week. First up, here are the blocks from last week for the 365 Block Challenge....
We are still doing 3-1/2" blocks. With a few exceptions, these all went together pretty quickly. Valentine's Day had a bonus block so there are 8 from last week.
Then I worked on my Project 48 block for last week. These blocks have been pretty quick too. I really am looking forward to seeing where this goes.
Then I finished up the 4 blocks for the Ugly Christmas Sweater QAL. I am making the 2 blocks Lorna posts each week and adding 2 supplemental blocks using Christmas fabric.
These have been so much fun to make. Thanks for such a great pattern Lorna!
And finally, The Splendid Sampler has started! This is a worldwide, 100 block, year-long quilt along. It was put together by Pat Sloan and Jane Davidson. There are 2 blocks a week and there are so many designers working together to make it happen! I've been looking forward to it for a month now. And the first block was not a disappointment.
This one is going to be for my brother and sister-in-law and they have a king size bed so the 6-1/2" blocks were an issue. I designed a layout to increase each block to 12-1/2" and I am simply loving this first block. It's a pretty simple upgrade but I'll write up a tutorial this week for those that asked!
And that should do it! What have you been working on? I'll be linking up at Patchwork Times for Design Wall Monday, BOM's Away at What a Hoot, Main Crush Monday at Cooking Up Quilts, Design Board Monday at Bits and Bobs, and with Monday Making at Love Laugh Quilt. On Wednesday with Let's Bee Social at Sew Fresh Quilts.
Don't forget to come back tomorrow for our monthly link up showing our leader/ender progress for the last month!

Sewing Again!
Hi y'all! I'm FINALLY feeling better and was able to get back to my sewing room this weekend. I've been fighting a cold/allergies for 2 weeks. But I hit it hard and think I'm back where I needed to be on these projects. First up is the 365 Block Challenge 2016. So far, I've been able to mostly work from scraps for this project. Here are the blocks from last week...
We are still working on our 3-1/2" blocks and will be for a while. This is going to be a gorgeous quilt I think. We'll see how it progresses. Next up was the Project 48 block for this week. This was an easy one...
After those were caught up, I caught up on the Ugly Christmas Sweater QAL, designed and hosted by Lorna at Sew Fresh Quilts. First up was her second block of the week...
Her large quilt is 20 blocks which makes a lap size quilt. You know me though and lap quilts are too small for real curling up on the couch cuddling so it has to be bigger. My solution is going to be making a few extra blocks as we go using some of my Christmas fabric. Here's the first one...
One thing I figured out as I was going is that I don't have nearly enough Christmas fabric. If anyone has a 6-1/2" square of Christmas fabric they wouldn't mind sharing, please let me know!!! Here's the second one...
And just so you can get an idea, my first four blocks together...
I am thoroughly enjoying this quilt along Lorna!!! Thanks so much for hosting. It's going to be a super cute quilt when it's done.
Sunday starts the Splendid Sampler and I'm hoping to do the second block of Ray of Hope this weekend. So many fun projects! What are you up to this week?
Today I'm linking up with Patchwork Times for Design Wall Monday, What a Hoot for BOM's Away, Main Crush Monday at Cooking Up Quilts, Design Board Monday at Bits and Bobs, and with Monday Making at Love Laugh Quilt. On Tuesday at Fabric Tuesday with Quilt Story, Linky Tuesday at Freemotion by the River, Scraptastic Tuesday at Mrs Sew and Sow, and Sew Cute Tuesday at Blossom Heart Quilts. Wednesday at Sew Fresh Quilts for Let's Bee Social. And Thursday with NTT at My Quilt Infatuation.

February Sew Sweet Bee Block and Ugly Christmas Sweaters Start!
Hi Y'all!!! I kept myself pretty darn busy last night after work. First thing I did was my 365 Block Challenge 2016 block...
Those HST's measure 1/2" finished!! For those of you struggling to get these tiny blocks made and looking okay, I highly recommend the 4 at a time HST method. I've had pretty good luck with it so far.
After that one was done, I decided to go ahead and get February's block for my Sew Sweet Bee done. Alicia asked us to make a heart block using Flower Sugar Fabric or the like. I didn't have Flower Sugar, but I remembered picking up some Pam Kitty and dug through my stash and used that.
From her reaction on Instagram last night, I think she likes it! ;) It was a really fun block to make and came together very quickly. I had enough time to get a start on the Ugly Christmas Sweaters QAL that Lorna at Sew Fresh Quilts designed/is hosting. Here's the first block...
I don't know about you, but I think it's too flippin' cute to be called ugly. It also went together pretty quickly and I really didn't want to stop making them. I have a feeling this one will end up being a good sized quilt by the time I'm done with it. Are you joining in the quilt along? I hope you do. I'd love to see what you come up with!
Today I'm linking up with Fabric Tuesday at Quilt Story, Linky Tuesday at Feemotion by the River, and Sew Cute Tuesday at Blossom Heart Quilts.

January Wrap Up!
Hi y'all! I sure hope you had a productive weekend. I spent most of mine fighting a sinus infection so felt lucky to get my daily blocks done. Here's a quick wrap up of those blocks for this month. First up is the 365 Block Challenge 2016, January blocks...
All of those are 3-1/2" blocks. I have loved making each and every one of them so far. I have become an expert at the 4 at a time HST method and that has been my saving grace with these things. Can't even imagine trying to make 1-1/4" HST's the traditional way.
Next up is this week's Project 48 block...
These are some really fun blocks and each week is so different than the last. I can't wait to see this one come together and there are still so many weeks to go! Here are the first 4 together...
And since this is the start of a new month, I get my new Ray of Hope block. Today also starts the Ugly Sweater Quilt Along at Sew Fresh Quilts and this month starts the Splendid Sampler which I'm really looking forward to.
So what are y'all up to? I can't wait to see! Come link up with me at Patchwork Times for Design Wall Monday, BOM's Away at What A Hoot, Main Crush Monday at Cooking Up Quilts, Bits 'n' Bobs for Design Board Monday, and Monday Making at Love Laugh Quilt.
