Two UFO's Finished!

That's right!  I finished up two UFO's over the last week!  The weather hasn't been cooperating this weekend though so the good pics will have to wait, but here's a sneak peek.  First, I met my January goal and finished up the Ugly Christmas Sweaters Quilt, designed and hosted by Lorna at Sew Fresh Quilts.

I'm so excited about it!  I cannot wait to get it quilted and use it next Christmas!  Then I went back to my UFO stack and found I was very close to finishing up this baby quilt that is destined for the NICU babies at the local hospital.  The pattern is "Framed" and is by Camille Roskelley in her book, Simply Retro.

I have two more of those cut out and ready to whip together.  They'll be next in the UFO stack to finish up.

I also stayed up to date on my quilt alongs (thank goodness!).  First, this year's 365 Quilt Challenge.

I love this umbrella block.  It's for my Adventurously Epic Sampler.  This pic captures some of the silver in the fabrics! :)

I have four more blocks done for the Stargyle quilt which is working as my leaders/enders project.

Lorna, at Sew Fresh Quilts, started a new quilt along, Have a Jolly Little Christmas.  The first block was released Saturday.  I got into EQ7 and made a plan then made up these blocks.

And lastly, yesterday's block for the 52 Weeks with the Quilter's Planner hosted by Gnome Angel.  This block was designed by Cassandra Beaver and to be quite honest, I was dreading it.  But the instructions were well written so it went together relatively easily.  Here's the Sand Dollar Star.

Yup!  It was another very busy week.  This week, I have some sewing to do for Free Spirit (yay!) but I'm going to try to keep up with the quilt alongs.  Wish me luck!

WOW! Nice finishes. It's been fun for me revisiting the UFOs and crossing them off the long list. I love your 365 blocks. I have not any projects yet, only printed off a few blocks for a future project.

Busy Lady and at first I did not see the sweaters, but that is the cutest quilt. On the Umbrella block - I think I have tons of that light blue and dark blue in the same line - love blues!

I am determined to finish the last 3 bindings (handwork) of the 5 small projects I finished quilting this week.

We received a 5 minute rain then it cooled down to 67 but the humidity is high. We need some cold weather!

Keep up the good work.

Two finishes, yay!!! You are on a roll and working on several quilt-a-longs at a time as usual. Good for you girl! Love them all!

I am trying to not get into too many newbies this year but it is bound to happen. I am seriously considering Esther's hand applique' project although I can't recall the name at the moment. Who knows what else will tickle my fancy when I click the links you have shared for your projects. That Christmas one looks interesting.

Your list is inspiring me to get right in there again. Well done. I talked myself out of the new sew fresh quilt but as I keep seeing it around I may cave.

Oh my word, your Ugly Sweater quilt is amazing, I've seen these develop on IG and they look for effective!! Do you know how you're going to quilt it? I also love your choice of light blue fabric in the umbrella block, the silver looks like rain drops :)
