Leaders/Enders 1/20/15

Welcome to the January leader/ender linky party!  I love these parties.  Every single project that links up is inspiring and makes me start planning my next leader/ender project.  But before I show you mine this month, I wanted to show you that I finished the second block for this month's Rainbow Scrap Challenge, the card trick block.

I'm having a lot of fun playing with these blocks and the layout that So Scrappy has come out with this year is gorgeous.  So glad to be participating!

So without further ado, here is where I am with my leader/ender project, Patches and Pinwheels...

Laying them out for you each month is really helping!  I learned that I've made enough blocks that they don't fit on my table anymore. :)  And I saw that I put the wrong color pinwheels on two of the blocks so I need to switch them out.  I am really loving this scrap quilt so much.  I can't wait to see it finished (in a year or so!).

So what are you working on for your leader/ender project?  Link up below.  And then swing on by So Scrappy and see other people's RSC15 projects.  Then stop by Fabric Tuesday at Quilt Story and enjoy the eye candy!  Also linking up with Sew Fresh Quilts for Let's be Social! and My Quilt Infatuation for Needle and Thread Thursday.

And in case you missed it, we have a new quilt along here on the blog, the Not So Last Minute Christmas Quilt Along and you are just in time to join in!

  2. I was reading and quilting all month--doesn't make many leaders and enders. But I did press all those seams from last month so that I could move along! See you next month. :-)

  3. It looks wonderful. Great idea as a leader-ender project which I happily call my humpjumpers (and have for more years than when I heard Bonnie's phrase). It will be a fantastic quilt.

  4. LOVE how your Patches and Pinwheels quilt is coming along! I admire anyone who can actually DO a leader/ender project, as I tend to get sidetracked by mine... working more on that than the "real" project. LOL

  5. I love your leader ender project. I'm contemplating starting one but haven't yet as I've gotten paralyzed with all the choices

  7. I've been working on card tricks today too. A visitor to my blog suggested I join your leaders and enders party with my new butterfly project. I plan on making as much as possible with leaders and enders, but we'll see.
