Paris Quilt Progress

I FINALLY feel like I'm making some good progress on my Paris quilt. I started assembling the blocks last night.  Here's a few of them laid out together...

This is NOT the final layout (I know things are upside down).  I just wanted to get a feel for the pattern and how it will look finished.   Cassidy loves it and I must say it's growing on me.  And Cass loves big quilts so this one will be pretty huge!

I can't keep calling this the Paris quilt.  I'm writing this one up into my first pattern and I need a name! :)  So....I thought I'd get all of you involved.  Leave me a comment with your name suggestions and if I use yours, you'll get a free PDF copy of the pattern!  I can't wait to see what yall come up with!

And don't forget to come by next Tuesday and link up your leader/ender projects!  Let's see how far you've gotten in the last month!

  1. Such a successful combination of fabrics. I like the prints on lavender solid. They way you've put pinwheels on only two sides of the large squares is so clever. There are so many more design options when the resulting block has different corners. Best wishes for your pattern.

  2. Fancy That!
my first thought, because the pattern will really dress up any fancy fabric!

  3. I am anxious to see more to give me a better idea of the overall design. I love the Paris fabric you used. There is a great effect going on with the dark and purple pinwheels. Love it!

  6. I like how it fits with the bigger blocks, which I didn't know were part of the design. I like your step-by-step revealing of the quilt.
