I also made it to 6 more shops in the Row by Row Experience and picked up plates at each one...
I've got an idea on how to incorporate them into the back of the roadtrip quilt. We'll see how it works out.

Wow! I am loving that Texas quilt. The red really pops against those low volume pieces. It sure is coming together nicely! And those license plates? How awesome are those!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm intrigued how you are going to use the license plate fabric--so cool! I think your Texas quilt is a beautiful study in color and shades. It is so appealing.
ReplyDeleteHappy to meet you Cathy! Your Texas quilt is very interesting - what a cool idea! I love the red too. Those Row by Row plates will make a great backing - aren't they fun? We have the same thing going on up here in Michigan.
ReplyDeleteLove the quilt you are progressing on! Looks like you are from Texas -- love the cowboy hat! I am raising a cowboy myself. Thanks for joining the Mystery Row Swap. I look forward to getting to know you and will add your blog to my blogroll and bloglovin'.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea, I have not heard of row by row until I read about it here. This will be a great quilt when it's finished, I particularly like the flying geese, I love seeing a few flying geese popping up in a quilt, they add an element of interest without being overbearing.
ReplyDeleteProgress is being made on your Texas quilt. Have you made any of the row by row rows? I've been traveling this week so was able to visit about 9 shops. I've got one row 3/4 done but have several more to choose from. Now to find the time to actually sew the rows!
