Baby Buckaroo Finished!

My friends, I have been sick as a dog the last few days, but I really wanted to pop in and share with you a finish I had over the holidays.  I was bound and determined to get his finished for my adorable baby nephew.  This UFO was started 10, yes 10 years ago.  Back when I was still learning to quilt.  No strip piecing.  Everything cut individually.  I think that's why it became a UFO.  But it is done!!

That's my middle child, Alex, holding it for me.  (Isn't he a cutie??)  Anyway, I pulled it out early last year when I found out my brother and his wife were expecting again.  And I finished it up in time to give it to them when they came to visit right before Christmas.

I quilted it with a simple stitch in the ditch design and backed it with a denim looking minky.  The binding is by Moda and is Tooled Leather in Chocolate Brown.

I love it!  My brother and his wife loved it!  And I'm hoping Coby is able to get a lot of use out of it.
