Sunday Stash

I will be doing my best this year, as many others will, to use what's in my stash and to keep the buying to a minimum.   Now I know myself and shop hops will happen!  There will be fabric coming in!  But I'm going to keep track this year and we'll see how I do.

That being said, I did have fabric come in this week.   We went to DFW this weekend and I had to stop at Cabbage Rose to pick up the license plate I bought during the summer.  While I was there, I decided to get the fabric I needed to set my Austen Family Album quilt.

I've been want this yellow for a while and I think it's perfect for a 1930's quilt.  It is Patina in Lemon for the Paint Collection by Carrie Bloomston by Wyndham.   I love the shading in the solids in this line and can't wait to use it.

So...here's my count for the first week of the year...

In....3-1/2 yards
Out....0 yards
Net Used....-3-1/2 yards

Linking up with Molli Sparkles for Sunday Stash and Judy at Patchwork Times for stash report.

  1. That is a nice yellow. I've never heard of Cabbage Rose in Dallas but I'll have to see if it is on my way to anywhere. I love visiting new shops.
