Curved Log Cabin

Hi yall!  I've been away from the blog for a few weeks, dealing with some family issues, but I'm back!!  And how I've missed everyone!  Can you believe I didn't touch a sewing machine for 3 weeks??  But over the last few nights, I was able to buckle down and decided to work on my curved log cabin blocks for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge.  This month the color is light blue...

And last month was dark green...

Dark Green Curved Log Cabin

Here are the first 6 sets of blocks together...

First 6 Curved Log Cabin Blocks Together

I am really liking the direction this quilt is taking!  Can't wait to see it done.

Tonight is graduation for my baby so no sewing tonight.  But I have a few finishes to share with you because I did manage to find time on a quilting machine so I'll be back Friday.

Three weeks away from sewing... I feel your pain! These are really fun scrappy blocks... looks like some really sweet pink fabrics in the mix (pink gal here)

Congratulations to the graduate! I love the way the red centres and aqua backgrounds make the other colours look, this will be a very happy quilt :).

Love the way those circles of color pop against that aqua. And so interesting that the light blue one almost seems to recede. Its really lovely.

I just love it!!!! That aqua really ties it all together so nicely :*)
Hope things have settled down for you and your family - we all have those times, don't we?
